What is Financial Aid?

Financial Aid is made available by federal and state government and private sources, in the form of grants, scholarships, loans, and employment. The State of California also has a waiver of enrollment and health fees (BOG Fee Waiver) for students who qualify. The basis for such assistance is the belief that students (and their parents) have a responsibility to assist their dependents in meeting educational costs. Financial Aid is available only to fill the gap between a family's contribution and the student's yearly expenses.

 

 

Deadlines

Please check with the Financial Aid Office for application deadlines. Generally speaking, students should submit applications and other documentation as early as possible.
