Thomas G. Lakin Physical Education Center

Located on the campus of Los Angeles Southwest College is the 70,000 square foot sports complex known as the Thomas G. Lakin Physical Education Center, a three-court basketball gymnasium with seating for 3,000 fans. In addition to the gymnasium, the two story building includes a physical therapy pool, training room, four racquetball courts, fitness center, and dance studio. An Olympic sized 50 meter outdoor pool offers an opportunity for students and others to swim competitively or recreationally. A small training pool complements the large pool. Other facilities included The Dennis Gilbert Baseball Field, a softball field, and a soccer field.
